Seems like Hollywood can't get enough of India! Californian songstress Katy Perry and British comedian Russell Brand got hitched in Jaipur in October this year and now the buzz out of tinseltown is that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to tie the knot in Jodhpur early next year! Looks like Rajasthan is the place to be right now.
Pop star Katy Perry and British comedian Russell Brand fell in love with each other - and with India - last year. And after getting engaged in Japiur, the happy pair decided to come back to their fav country - along with about 80 friends and family members - to say their 'I do's.' Katy was inspired by No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani's wedding dress and has hired one of her favorite designers to get the most exquisite outfit.
Katy and Brand touched down at Jaipur airport in October thus year and wed in a lavish Hindu ceremony. When the "California Girls" singer arrived in India she gave fans an idea of what she would be wearing during the nuptials as she donned a traditional bridal nose ring. We wonder if Angelina will do the same or if she will keep it simple?
But why does Brangelina want to follow in Katy's and Russell's footsteps in the first place? Well according to the rumors, the controversial couple had some relationship issues that were solved by a Hindu priest through 'couples' yoga' so now they want that same Hindu priest to bless them in a wedding ceremony.
Brad and Angelina are reportedly set to spend New Year's Eve in India before getting hitched at their Guru's Adhyatm Vigyan Satsang Kendra ashram on January 14. If these rumors turn out to be true, the world's eyes will yet again turn to the new hot spot for Hollywood's hottest celebs - India!
